The Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a 2-storey extension project in Central London, focused on external shell and core works. The successful candidate will report directly to the Project Manager and take responsibility for coordinating site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.
Project Scope: Structural works, Façade installation, Window installation, External shell and core package
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage day-to-day site operations and subcontractors
- Coordinate structural and façade packages through to completion
- Ensure health & safety compliance across site activities
- Monitor programme, quality, and productivity targets
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reporting
- Liaise with the Project Manager, consultants, and subcontractors
- Maintain accurate site records and reporting documentation
- Drive high standards of workmanship and site presentation
Ideal candidate:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial or mixed-use projects
- Strong background delivering structural and external envelope works
- Strong IT capability and confidence using digital construction tools
- Experience with Fieldview is beneficial but not essential
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and tech-savvy approach
